Touch Keyboarding is our Goal
When students "hunt and peck" or look at the keyboard to find the keys, most of their brain power is absorbed in the process of finding keys. This leaves little brain power for creativity in writing. It may look like they are doing well because they might be able to type a great speeds.
When students use touch keyboarding, not looking at the keys, they can use up to 80% of their brain power for the creative writing process or transferring hard copy information to digital.
